Detroit Lions 96th Anniversary Commemorative Dual Medallion Set 1930-2026
Why the Detroit Lions 96th Anniversary Commemorative Dual Medallion Set 1930-2026 is a Must-Have
Since 1930, the Detroit Lions have roared through nearly a century of NFL history, a franchise built on grit, glory, and unwavering pride in Motor City. This commemorative dual medallion set honors those 96 years of legacy with a two-sided design that captures the heart and soul of Lions football ?” the fierce determination of the team itself and the roaring passion of Ford Field where champions are made. For longtime Lions fans who have stood by their team through every season, for collectors of sports memorabilia who appreciate the weight of history, or for anyone who believes in the power of pride and perseverance, this 96th Anniversary medal set is a tangible tribute to one of the NFL’s most storied franchises and the fans whose loyalty defines One Pride Nation.
The medallion set features two intricately designed medals celebrating different dimensions of the Lions organization. The first medal showcases a dominantly roaring lion head in gleaming gold and bronze tones, its fierce expression and detailed mane commanding the design’s center stage, flanked by football players in full Lions blue uniforms and backed by the Detroit Motor City skyline and Ford Field stadium illustration. The word MOTOR CITY appears in circular badges alongside 1930-2026, marking the anniversary span, while paw prints and stars ornament the design. The second medal shifts focus to Ford Field itself, rendering the iconic stadium interior with architectural precision, a Lions player wearing number 20 in blue uniform positioned as the focal point in the center of the field, crowd energy visible in the seating areas, and the rallying cry DEFEND THE DEN emblazoned above. Both medals feature the distinctive blue and white color palette of the franchise, striking silver metallic finishes, and the inscription ONE PRIDE NATION representing the unbreakable bond between team and fan. The set arrives in premium presentation, housed on a wooden display base with blue velvet interior and accompanied by branded materials celebrating Grit and Glory ?” a decade in the Den.
Perfect as a gift for lifelong Lions fans and serious sports collectors, a special present for anyone who has worn the Honolulu blue with pride, or a distinguished display piece honoring 96 years of Michigan football history and the resilience of a championship-minded franchise.
