Why the Fisher-Price Little People The Wizard of Oz 24-Figure Collector Advent Calendar Set is a Must-Have
There is no place like home ?” and there is no story quite like the Wizard of Oz, a timeless tale that has enchanted audiences for nearly a century with its message that courage, kindness, and friendship matter more than power or wealth. This Little People collector set brings Dorothy and all the beloved characters from L. Frank Baum’s classic fantasy to life in chunky, collectible form. For anyone who has watched Dorothy click her ruby slippers together and whispered those famous words, marveled at the Scarecrow’s wisdom despite claiming he had no brain, rooted for the Cowardly Lion to find his courage, or felt moved by the Tin Man’s journey to discover his heart, this 24-figure Advent Calendar celebrates a story that reminds us that everything we seek is already within ourselves and each other.
The collector set features 24 individually sculpted Little People figures representing Dorothy and the entire cast of characters from the Land of Oz. Dorothy appears in her iconic blue and white gingham dress with blonde curls and braids, ready for adventure on the yellow brick road. The Scarecrow stands in his ragged outfit and black hat, the gentle soul searching for a brain but already possessing wisdom. The Cowardly Lion appears in brown and tan, his mane flowing, embodying the character who learns that courage lives within. The Tin Man stands in his silver metallic form with his iconic red heart symbol on his chest, seeking a heart but already capable of deep feeling. Toto, Dorothy’s faithful small black dog, accompanies the group. Glinda the Good Witch appears in her pink ball gown with tiara and crown, the benevolent sorceress guiding Dorothy’s journey. The Wicked Witch of the West stands in her green skin and black outfit, representing the darkness overcome. The set also includes Professor Marvel, multiple Munchkin characters in various rainbow-colored outfits ?” yellow, red, blue, purple, green, and pink ?” the Flying Monkey, and additional Oz residents and magical characters. All 24 figures arrive in a stunning green and yellow Advent Calendar box featuring the iconic Emerald City with its green spires, the yellow brick road leading toward destiny, a field of red poppies in the foreground, and the heartfelt message that Friends, Courage, Kindness, and A Brighter Tomorrow are what truly matter, along with the reminder that There’s No Place Like Home.
